Surrounded by towering evergreens and overlooking the Lions Gate Bridge, Prospect Point is one of Stanley Park’s most celebrated destinations. Use the directions below to plan your visit by car, by transit, or on foot.
By Car
From West Georgia Street / Downtown Vancouver
Travelling west along West Georgia Street, take the exit for Stanley Park and follow Pipeline Road to the end, making a left hand turn onto Stanley Park Drive. Continue along Stanley Park Drive until reaching Prospect Point.
From North Shore via Lions Gate Bridge or Stanley Park Causeway
Travelling south over the Lions Gate Bridge from the North Shore, take the first exit on your right after the bridge for Stanley Park Drive and Prospect Point. Turn left onto Stanley Park Drive and follow along until reaching Prospect Point.
Parking
Paid parking in Stanley Park is provided by Easy Park. We recommend you download the Easy Park app (lot number #62).
Transit
Take the 19 Stanley Park bus to the Stanley Park Loop and walk for about thirty minutes.
On Foot
From the Seawall, walk a short distance up the paved pathway and take a slight right onto Avison Trail, a dirt path. Follow the path until it forks to the Prospect Point trail and take the right pathway. This path will lead under Lions Gate Bridge, eventually leading up to Prospect Point.
